    Have a hmmm…

    December 15th, 2006

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral, offensiveness-free celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I was trying to think of an image to go along with this, but everything was “offensive”! :-/

    How about this?

Pardon Border Agents Ramos and Compean

Persecuted because they were doing their jobs…

That’s precisely what has happened to two U.S. Border agents who were convicted and sentenced to 11 and 12 year prison terms for shooting a Mexican drug smuggler who had crossed our border illegally and physically assaulted one of the agents. This outrageous injustice took place near El Paso, Texas—a hotbed of illegal activity, where drug smugglers, and violent gang members illegally crossing from Mexico are often encountered. On February 17, 2005, U.S. Border Ignacio Ramos (a former nominee for border patrol agent of the Year), and Jose Compean attempted to apprehend a fleeing illegal alien at our border.

Today, both are facing 20 year prison terms, and even more outrageous, this same illegal alien is now suing the U.S. for $5 million claiming his civil rights were violated. Click here for the Lou Dobbs report.

Both agents must surrender to federal authorities on January 17, to begin their terms. However, Grassfire.org is calling on the President to pardon them, and is rallying at least 200,000 citizens to sign our petition. Because of the timeliness of this issue, we will electronically deliver all signed petitions, and personal comments about this case directly to the White House.

CLICK HERE TO SIGN THE PETITION TO PARDON THE AGENTS!

    Grow Up Already!

    September 16th, 2006

These people need to grow up, every time someone says ANYTHING about the Muslim “faith” they become extremely fiery and outraged!!!

Aren’t they the religion of peace?  Isn’t that’s what all this is about really?  Whether or not they are a peaceful religion?

Doesn’t look very peaceful to me.  Looks like a bunch of monkeys whose bananas have been taken away.

No one seems to care when others make outrageous statements on TV about the Christians or the Catholic Church…

Heck, even the scientology wackjobs don’t even get as militant when mocked and made fun of as these supposedly peace loving Muslims.

Not every Muslim is a terrorist, but every terrorist is a Muslim.

Should the ABC/9-11 Special be Yanked?

    September 9th, 2006

On Friday evening, Bill Clinton’s lawyers sent a new letter to ABC chief Bob Iger demanding that ABC yank “The Path to 9/11.” We’ve obtained a copy of the letter, and it reads in part: “As a nation, we need to be focused on preventing another attack, not fictionalizing the last one for television ratings. `The Path to 9/11′ not only tarnishes the work of the 9/11 Commission, but also cheapens the fith anniversary of what was a very painful moment in history for all Americans. We expect that you will make the responsible decision to not air this film.” Full text of the letter after the jump.

I know people who were in Washington D.C. before and after 9/11 and most of the “fictional” things that are described as being in these shows are true. They (the previous administration) just does not want the American people to know about them.

Most of the good things that are done to keep America safe are kept secret too, at least until they leak to the press and the players are hailed as great Americans and get their place in American

But MANY more of the bad things that have happened are completely denied by the administrations, including Clinton’s (many told and untold of stories of abuse) and both Bush’s (Same), no matter how much evidence is leaked out to the contrary.

Credible, well-known people who witnessed these events and speak out are destroyed by the government and the media over petty issues. Less well-known people who speak out are made into un-patriotic wacko nutjobs who have a governmental grudge.

    bergers.jpg
But despite how I feel about some of these past administrative actions. I think most of them are better left secret unless they have irrepairably harmed the United States, such as the actions of not only Samuel “sticky fingers” Berger, who “stole” some documents that could be used to
    Clinton1s.jpg
    Clinton1s.jpg
show his inaction to respond to terrorist capturing/killing tips, but also Mr. Clinton himself, who did not take a stronger stance and ignore the bad advice of the former NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR (Mr. Berger), Advisor being the key-word, when it came to Bin Laden and al-Qaeda. His job was to advise, to give advice. Not to make the final decision. That was the president’s job and the former president let us down when it came to “whacking Osama Bin Laden” when he had the chance. I’m sure there is more behind it, and other factors to include, but that is the bottom-line.

Let the truth (in this case) be told.

    ASININE: Indians grow feathers?

    August 15th, 2006

Found this over on Moon’s blog and thought I would repost it for everyone here as well.

Political Correctness has run amuck, it’s time to stop it. Do you part and be Politically Incorrect today! I’m sure I will, as I usually am at least once a day. :-)
    ______________________

    This is just plain stupid:

The NCAA has denied William & Mary’s appeal of a ruling that prohibits it from using its logo showing two Indian feathers at NCAA championship events or from hosting NCAA tournament games where the logo would be displayed.

Now, here’s the logo the NCAA is so upset with:

Note to NCAA, Indians don’t grow feathers, birds do. Now, wanna see the kicker to this stupid decision?

In that same ruling, the NCAA said William and Mary’s nickname, the Tribe, was not necessarily abusive, hostile or offensive, and therefore still could be used.

Bird feathers are abusive, hostile, or offensive, but a direct reference to Indians is not?

That makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. The NCAA has lost its collective mind.

DC to set up crime cameras

    August 10th, 2006

DC tourists and visitors would be safer if the chief simply handed out handguns to all law abiding citizens and tourists.  Crime would drop almost immediately and drastically.  Allow permit holders from states that have them carry.  Come on! The solution is obvious.

D.C. police today will begin installing surveillance cameras in four high-crime neighborhoods, nearly 30 days after officials declared a citywide crime emergency.

The closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV) will be installed at 14th and Girard streets Northwest, the 400 block of O Street Northwest, the 1200 block of Valley Avenue Southeast, and between the 1500 and 1700 blocks of Benning Road Northeast.

“The deployment of CCTV cameras in D.C. neighborhoods is not a panacea to the serious problems of crime and violence on our streets,” Metropolitan Police Chief Charles H. Ramsey said. “But the cameras do provide us with one additional crime-fighting tool that will help to deter criminal activity in the first place and, if crimes do occur, help us identify, apprehend and convict the offenders.”

A fatal shooting occurred during broad daylight yesterday at one of the proposed camera sites.

A man in his early 20s was shot several times in front of an apartment building in the 1400 block of Girard Street about 12:30 p.m. yesterday. Police arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with the slaying.

Police spokesman Kevin Morison said it has not been decided where or on what structure the camera would be mounted at the Benning Road site.

Installation of the cameras is expected to be completed by the end of this week.

    Department of Homeland Correctness

    August 9th, 2006
    DHS Closed
    DHS Closed
Amazing! Nothing ever seems to amaze me anymore, but this is amazing. The absolute stupidity of the people who “run” the country is endless. Check out this blurb I found quoted on Michelle Malkin’s blog.

Less than a year before 9-11, 17 national Muslim and Arab groups marched on Washington to protest support for Israel. The rally attracted more than 10,000 Muslims, who denounced Jews and, for the first time, openly supported Hamas and Hezbollah. Some of their leaders ominously warned America it would suffer a terrible fate if it did not divorce Israel.

Many who attend such rallies are here illegally from the Middle East, yet the feds don’t pick them up because their bosses are handcuffed by political correctness and don’t want to look racist.

Sensitivity toward Muslims is so raw that Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff this week felt compelled to express disappointment that the FBI put out an alert for 11 Egyptian students who failed to show up at Montana State University. They entered the country on visas, then vanished. Chertoff said not to worry, just a bunch of kids cutting class. No threat here.

Three were arrested Wednesday, but how can Chertoff be so sure the 11 weren’t deployed to videotape skyscrapers or train for jihad?

With Hezbollah trying to infiltrate America, and teams of suspicious young men entering the U.S. under false pretenses, it’s time to put more teeth in the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System that requires young men from the Middle East who arrived after 9-11 to check in with immigration officials during their stays — not kill the program, as some in Washington have proposed.

    YouTube sued by a dumbass…

    July 20th, 2006

Robert Tur says video he shot of the beating of trucker Reginald Denny during the 1992 Los Angeles riots was posted at YouTube without his permission and viewed more than 1,000 times. Tur says in his lawsuit, filed Friday in U.S. District Court, that YouTube is profiting from his work while hurting his ability to license his video.

Give me a F\/C|<|/\/G break!  Someone is angry over not being able to make money off crap like this?!  This is probably the stupidest lawsuit I have heard of recently.

YouTube states that they are fall within Safe Harbor and are therefore safe under the DCMA since they are not responsible for the content posted by users.

Who really cares, except Mr. Tur(d)?
