Ahmadinejad: US and Israel will soon end

    January 24th, 2007

I know Mahmoud’s statement is rhetorical and meant to rally the Islamo fascists against the west, but IRAN needs to be nuked. Right now. With many small targeted tactical nuclear weapons to minimize fallout, we should completely annihilate that country. If he makes threats like this and “his people” do not stand up and speak out heavily against him, they become our mortal enemies as well.

They may fear reprisal by his regime, but if they do not revolt, then they should face our wrath. More than ever, the U.S. needs to be preemptive for our best interest and protection of our way of life.

I’m getting really tired of this pussy footing around the real issue. These people, the Islamo-fascists, want us and everyone like us dead. There is no other choice but to kill with extreme prejudice. Kill until there are no more to kill.
The only thing these people understand is force, so lets give them some.

I don’t understand why nuclear weapons are so avoided by the more recent administrations. We nuked Japan and now they’re our buddies and their society has never been more prosperous. Let do the same with the middle east.

UPDATE: Border Patrol Agents ordered to Surrender

    From the Desk of:
    Steve Elliott, President
    Grassfire.org

    1/17/2007

Border Agents Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos have been ordered
by Judge Kathleen Cardone to surrender to the United States
Marshal by 3 pm (EST) today!

Both agents had filed a motion with the court to remain free
on bond while they appeal their case. With this ruling, the
agents must begin serving their sentences beginning today!

I am outraged by this devastating ruling, and want our team
to know that this issue is not over!

This decision to send these men to prison–where they will
likely be placed among the drug dealers and gang members they
put in prison themselves will no doubt send a terrible message
to every law enforcement official in the nation, that our
justice department, our government no longer has your back!

Just two weeks ago, National Guardsmen were fired upon on
the border. But because they cannot engage, they had to retreat!

    This is utter madness.

Yesterday, Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX) delivered your petitions directly
to the White House in a twelfth-hour effort to keep these men
from going to prison. The White House did not respond. Why hasn’t
the President commented on this case? I want to know!

As mentioned earlier, this issue is far from over.

Grassfire is committed to working to free these men who swore
to protect us. Ron De Jong and I will be presenting your
petitions and meeting with members of the media today, and we
will challenge the President and our Justice System… In short,
we will be bold for these men, and I need you to do the same!

I am personally appealing to each member of our Grassfire team
to stand in the gap for agents Compean and Ramos. Continue
telling their story to friends and rallying much needed
    grassroots support.

But it can’t end there. Continue pressuring the White House–
    demanding they pardon these men!

Here is the White House number: 202/456-1111

Together we must be bold for these dedicated family men who
stood for us. Now we must stand for them until this terrible
    wrong is made right!

Thanks for taking immediate action with me.

    Steve Elliott
    President
    Grassfire.org Alliance

P.S: Please forward this message to ALL your friends and family.
Urge them to sign our petition and call the White House, today!

    Apple iPhone! FINALLY!

    January 9th, 2007

The apple phone has finally come out… I won’t go into too many details here except that it is a Quadband GSM (850,900,1800,1900mhz) phone that has 4gb ($499) or 8gb ($599) of flash memory installed.

Of course it is also a music and video iPod that can be viewed vertically or horizontally. It is LOADED with features. Also includes a 2mp (slightly disappointing) camera. Web browsing is via the Safari Web browser that scales webpages to be viewed (again horizontally or vertically) and is able to zoom in on portions of heavily content intensive pages.

Widgets are present in their full desktop glory, email looks very functional and contacts and most likely bookmarks sync with the host machine (not sure about Windows boxes).

It looks as if it is running an embedded version of Mac OS X.

    Windows Vista RTM, Disappointment…

My brother and I both recently, over the holidays, attempted to install the final Vista RTM and here is a brief entry on our findings.

My brother’s laptop is a nice higher end laptop from Alienware, it has a desktop class PC processor in it and runs XP better than most desktops.

He started the install, it took a while to go through all the hardware/software compatibility tests, but FINALLY, after about an hour, started the install/upgrade process.

The install completed sucessfully and when it came to boot time, crushed our hopes of getting Vista running on his machine that night… He basically kept getting a BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) due to a bad modem driver loading, even though the laptop’s modem is disabled.

During his install, I started the install, using the same version of Vista on my Toshiba Qosmio, which is also a high end laptop that has a gig of RAM, an nVidia 6600 Video card and decently powerful processor, although not as fast as the Alienware.

My install also went sucessfully, but took about 3.5-4 hours to upgrade XP. It was about 2:30am and I restarted it to boot for the first time…

It was looking promising, no immediate BSoD, but it just stayed at the “sliding bar” loading screen. After entering safe mode, I noticed it kept locking up on the CRCDISK.SYS driver which has to do with the IDE/SATA bus in the machine. Googling it confirmed people were having trouble, but I found no simple solution.

ONE KUDO: Microsoft at least had an OS rollback feature that would restore XP and get rid of any trace of Vista, which I did and am now back on XP.

CONCLUSION: I AM VERY disappointed with Vista and hope others have better luck.
