Mexicans head home
In an ironic twist of migration direction, hundreds of Mexicans living on the Gulf Coast rushed home Thursday to avoid Rita, while authorities in northern Mexico readied shelters and prepared for heavy rains.

Mexican families coming from Houston, Galveston, South Padre Island, Corpus Christi and Pasadena, Texas, waited in lines at Nuevo Laredo to get temporary import permits for their cars.

The storm?s course change could send it away from Houston and Galveston and instead draw the hurricane toward Port Arthur, Texas, or Lake Charles, La., at least 60 miles up the coast, by late Friday or early Saturday.

There is no better time to secure the borders than now! MANY mexicans are heading back home… Now is time to let them know that if they’re illegal then they can’t get back in.

Let the ones with valid work permits or are working towards citizenship to come back, but if they were illegal in the first place, keep them there!

This woman is insane. If she had it the way she wanted, all those people would still be killing each other in the streets and it would be entirely worse than it was already.

She should just shut her mouth, go home and blend back into her mediocre world of ignorance.

CINDY SHEEHAN CALLS FOR U.S TO ‘PULL OUR TROOPS OUT OF OCCUPIED NEW ORLEANS’

Celebrity anti-war protester, fresh off inking a lucrative deal with Speaker’s Bureau, has demanded at the HUFFINGTON POST and MICHAEL MOORE’S website that the United States military must immediately leave ‘occupied’ New Orleans.

“I don’t care if a human being is black, brown, white, yellow or pink. I don’t care if a human being is Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, or pagan. I don’t care what flag a person salutes: if a human being is hungry, then it is up to another human being to feed him/her. George Bush needs to stop talking, admit the mistakes of his all around failed administration, pull our troops out of occupied New Orleans and Iraq, and excuse his self from power. The only way America will become more secure is if we have a new administration that cares about Americans even if they don’t fall into the top two percent of the wealthiest.”

Sheehan is in the middle of a bus trip across America in support of her cause.

Although I’m sure the GoToMyPC service is very useful for some, I hate their commercials. They are trying to get across the point that “You can access your PC from Anywhere in the world…”

The problem I have with the commercials is that they use examples where even their own service isn’t accessible.

These are a few that I remember… They are not verbatim.

1. You are at the big game and the boss calls and needs something from your office PC.

2. You are fly fishing in the mountains of Montana and your partner calls and needs a file or you’ll lose your client.

3. You are climbing a mountain and are at 15000′ and you need to access something… blah blah

How are you even going to get a PC in these situations to even access your PC using GoToMyPC? I don’t think anyone at the company can answer that question. Maybe if you have a small laptop with a highspeed cellular/satellite internet connection and can stop in the middle of the above activities, log on to the internet and access GoToMyPC.

I’m going to call GoToMyPC sometime and use their own examples and find out how they expect me to access their services in those places.

This has annoyed me since the first time I saw these commercials. I think they need an entire new marketing department.
