I know this has been out for a while. But I would LOVE to get ahold of one.

I have used a Mac in the past (The mostly forgotten G4 Mac Cube)… I loved it, but had major issues with the video card overheating and the Video bus stopped functioning as a result. I’m eventually gonna part it out for use in other systems.

As for this new one, being a Linux freak that I am, I would love to try the latest Ubuntu Linux for PPC Processors on it to see how well it runs. If I could use these MiniMacs as servers, it would save tons of space here in the server room. I could stack up like 14 of these things in the same space as a standard Dell server I use now. Cluster them together and have a MiniMacSuperComputer… :-) Sounds like fun.

Been a bit lazy lately with this site.. I did a bunch while I was installing all the Linux builds on my test machine, but after that and watching all the news on Terri Schiavo and the Pope, I guess I got burned out a little.

I will eventually come around again to finding something interesting to put on here, hopefully in the next day or two. :-)
